It’s long overdue, hall of shame for Wikipedia. So let’s get on with the naming and shaming.
What’s the difference?
- A militant feminist walks into a bar and asks, “Where are all the women?”.
- A feminist militant walks into the same bar and asks, “Where the fuck are all the women?”…. Buster Seven Talk 12:26, 28 February 2015 (UTC) [diff]
So shall we deconstruct the “joke” and exactly what social roles of women it’s trying to enforce? So, asking where the women are is unacceptable because 1) the default is male 2) women should only ask this on the GGTF page, if at all 3) women should not even ask this on the GGTF page, as this page is reserved for men who want to complain –oooh! “criticize” –women 4) the f-word is for men only 5) women who use the f-word will be stigmatized and probably drummed off the project 6) men who use the f-word will be called arbs [see User:Beeblebrox/fuck off]
Can you imagine someone telling a joke like this on their talk page about Jews? Or about blacks? So why can’t anyone stop this?
