Facebook, Google, and Twitter can remove hate speech in a day

fb logoFacebook, Google, and Twitter have agreed to remove hate speech in Germany within 24 hours.  But not Wikipedia.

In a joint statement Tuesday, the Justice Ministry and the three companies said that it will become easier for users and anti-racism groups to flag hate speech.

The content will be examined by specialist teams and removed within a day if possible.

That’s how to do it.  Flag the speech.  Then take it down.

Wikipedia.  People.  Where are you?  This is not rocket science.
