Rape apologist concert canceled

According to Rolling Stone, a performance by Action Bronson has been cancelled after students protested.

Manchester, Wikipediocracy, you are on the wrong side of history.

“We apologize to the GW community for causing distress over the past few days and for attempting to bring an artist who is not consistent with our values of diversity and inclusion,” said the university’s Program Board, which plans such events, in a statement.

Some students took issue with the Program Board, also comprised of students, booking a headliner that one Hatchet editorial called “a blatant misogynist.” Issues with Bronson included since-deleted statements bashing transgender people, his song “Consensual Rape” (which he said he wouldn’t perform at Spring Fling), a music video for “Brunch” that depicts violence against woman, and a lack of apology for the aforementioned actions.
