Minnesota: the other shoe finally drops

“University of Minnesota Athletics Director Mark Coyle today relieved Gophers football coach Tracy Claeys of his duties, along with most of the rest of the coaching staff.”

“Claeys received heavy criticism after backing his team’s boycott following the suspension of 10 players involved in an alleged sexual assault investigation.”

Not surprised, no, not surprised at all.

The word on the street was that the players accused of gang rape had gotten off scott free, the administration was caving to the players’ boycott, but I knew that couldn’t be right.  No, this doesn’t surprise me at all.  This sort of thing just does not go down in Lake Wotracy-claeysbegone.

For those who want to see the evidence for themselves, the police report and the school report are both available.  It’s not very nice stuff. “Both documents are graphic in nature.”  Yeah, right.  And there were three cellphone videos. Yup, they were texting their little buddies with videos.  Believe it or not, these links came from the gamergaters:  reddit(DOT)com/r/KotakuInAction/?count=25&after=t3_5lyrlo

Minnesota may be the land of 10,000 lakes, but they’re not going to tolerate that kind of swamp.
