Women’s strike (sort of)

Self portrait in a velvet dress, Frido Kahlo, 1926

A Day Without a Woman is brought to you by the same people who brought you the Women’s March on Washington with those hideous pink hats. The day is Wednesday March 8, which is conveniently International Women’s Day.

The organizers realize that many women may not actually be able to take the day off, because Patriarchy, but you can also wear red.

At least it’s not those hideous pink hats.
