Burger King monetizes Wikipedia

Um, that’s 660 calories?

Burger King found a way to use Wikipedia for advertising. A new ad triggers google-controlled home devices by saying “OK, Google, what is the Whopper burger?” The device then reads the Wikipedia article.  As if there wasn’t already enough reason to hate Cortana.

“Google declined to comment, and Wikipedia was not available for comment.” Ha ha, I guess not.

The article in question is already locked down.  Looks like the text from the commercial was inserted by an IP.

Google quickly found a way to shut it down–the ad can no longer trigger home devices.

So how is the Whopper ‘notable’ again, when so many articles about women scientists are challenged?
