Is Auggie down?

So I was just trying to google an email address for Auggie, over at the Wikipedia criticism site Wikirev(DOT) org, to ask him about the forum screenshot he offered to send me, and I saw this.

Someone had written a nasty post about me, with the b-word and a lot more.  There is a screenshot in the comments here

Last night Auggie wrote a new post, saying he took it down as soon as he saw it. So thank you for that.

Originally he put it in a members-only forum to keep it out of the search engines, then removed it completely, and blocked the participants. Anyhow, thank you to the participants who defended me, and I’m sorry you were blocked.

So, Auggie, how do I get in touch with you.

And what on earth is going on.

Encyc is offline???

(“Encyc” is Auggie’s online encyclopedia, with something like 4,000 entries.)

Ah this might explain it.

Someone posted some information about Auggie, and the forum mods only redacted the phone number.

  1. Hey c***[redacted -GD] — you say someone wrote a nasty post about you. No. That’s not the truth and you know it. I merely drew attention to your mediocrity. I pointed out that you’re a clueless little c*** [redacted -GD] with the research abilities of a dog turd.

Do you have a problem dealing with the truth?

      1. Hi jrminor, There is a Wikipedia article about it.

In my opinion, it is fiction, but it is interesting fiction.

You may also be interested in “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?”

To me, these are all like kōan and do not have any practical use, outside of science fiction. See kōan:

  2. Oh lookie what I found in the back room.
This kinda looks like a death threat.
This was posted to wikirev by “anyone” just after “Andrew Brundle” posted the same thing here.

This is the same “anyone” who lives in Bangkok, who says he is thinking about relocating to Penang, and who is now posting as “anyone” on Sucks. And it looks like they do have a thriving business in Thailand, with some of the top names as customers.
This is how he introduces himself on his own, still-under-construction website: “I am an English website designer in Bangkok, Thailand….”

The same person has taken care to let us know he started the article on Buçaco Forest.
an article that was started by user:Singora
He took great care to let us know his identity, with information that would be nearly impossible for anyone else to find, that his first name is “Andrew” and cleaving a clue about his last name as a disambig page that was edited by Blofeld.
You couldn’t expect a more explicit calling card.

So this is what Andrew Brundle has been up to:
