Alexandra Whittingham is a British classical guitarist. She has won the Edinburgh Guitar Competition, placed second in the Carpathian International Youth Guitar Competition, and was named guitarist of the year at the Gregynog Young Musicians’ Competition.
Whittingham studied music at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester from age 11 to 18, then at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Artists she credits as influences include guitarists Julian Bream and David Russell, Brazilian violinist Fabio Zanon (Polish Wikipedia), and Marcin Dylla.
Whittingham has a number of music videos, some filmed in an old mill, which have over a million views.
