RIP Khaled al-Saif, father-in-law of Jordan’s crown prince

khaled al-Saif, founder of Al Saif Contracting Engineers Company

The father of Princess Rajwa, the Saudi who just married the heir to Jordan’s throne, Hussein, has died. Hs full name was Khaled Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz Al Saif. The King of Jordan just returned from a trip to the U.S., but he is now in Saudi Arabia on a private visit.  Now this is curious, in his absence, the person sworn in as regent was “HRH Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad, His Majesty’s chief adviser for religious and cultural affairs and personal envoy”.  Not Hussein.  I would suppose Hussein and Princess Rajwa would be in Riyadh as well, but maybe this is not protocol to mention it publicly.

Below, al Attar in Saudi Arabia just north of Riyadh.

His English article has a notability template. Imagine, the father-in-law of the future king of Jordan and they are slapping templates on his article.

The Saudi Gazette did not mention it at all. https://saudigazette.com.sa/search/rajwa Same old Saudi, but at least the King seems to be able to get in and out of the country easily, his first trip for the haj was quite a production..
