Did Russia just bring 5 warships into the Black Sea?

What kind? How? Will they become submarines like the Moscva?

It seems that Turkey is not supposed to let such things through the Bosporus, something about “Montreux Convention“, so maybe they came in through the river Don or some of the canals, and with smaller ships.

This Project 20380 Steregushchiy-class corvette thing seems to be generating a lot of sudden interest.

This one (above) appeared about the same time as the five loud explosions in Sevastopol.  Some kind of breaching experiment?  AKAIK, the ships have been moved out of Sevastopol to Feodosia, near the Kerch bridge, and Novorossiysk, on the eastern shore of the Black Sea, although they may be reconsidering that since the sinking of the Novocherkassk at Feodosia.

The Russian Wikipedia article may have 147 changes pending review, but it is certainly being read — starting a day earlier than en.wiki, on Dec. 25..

Oh, the bingo card.

I can’t read it.

Here’s one with better resolution, but it’s still in Russian:

This is what it is supposed to look like:

Here are four things from the internet that might be them.

It might be a bit early to get out the popcorn tho.

Okay here’s something in English

  1. For anyone who is thinking this could be a joe job, and wondering whether this is the same person as the Sucks moderator former Sucks moderator, and the person with the same handle on Reddit,… yes, yes it is the same person.

We don’t usually publish death threats here tho, but I think every one should see this one.

Oh it looks like this particular account does not have ‘Sucks mod’ anymore.

  2. The real question of course is whose sock is this, unless you want to believe someone would name their child something like “Bb3 suck”. Or who is impersonating whose sock….
